Following each coat of your tan you will be dried using air from the spray gun. Only once you are completely dry will you dress. Please wear loose fitting clothes to your tan, those that you do not mind if they were to get a little stained (although most times any excess solution that gets onto clothes washes off easily). Avoid tight jeans or leggings as these can leave marks on the skin where they rub the solution off before it has had time to penetrate into the skin.
For a regular solution, do not shower for at least 8 hours after your spray tan.
For the rapid solution, leave the tan to develop for at least 2 hours for a fair tan, 3 hours for medium and 4 hours for a dark tan. It takes this long for the tan to fully develop.
During the developing time, do not sweat or get your skin wet as this can cause streaks or blotchiness. This includes washing your hands. Do not touch your freshly tanned skin with your palms.
If you will be sleeping in the solution (before your rinsing shower) either sleep on a blanket that you don't mind getting stained, or wear long sleeves and long pants. As much as possible, avoid skin on skin contact as it can cause streaking.
Shower only with water to rinse off the solution.
Stay away from products with harsh chemicals (e.g. Dove)
Shave as lightly as possible to protect the tan.
Use products that are as natural or organic as possible.
After your shower:
Do not exfoliate, moisturize only.
Do not use oil-based products.
Wear oil-free sunblock and apply 15-minutes before sun exposure.
Keep water submersion to a minimum.
Always pat-dry when getting out of water.
Your spray tan will last approximately 7 days depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and pre-tan preparation.
